Library members – password information
Do you reserve books or use the Online Catalogue to reserve or renew items? Then read this ….
As from 20 June 2011, all customer passwords have been removed due to a security issue. We apologise for the incovenience caused.
Without a password, you cannot log into the online catalogue. Without a password, items cannot be reserved to your library card (either at home or in the library) either. To get a password, please:
go to the online catalogue; input your user name; click on the Forgotten Your Email link – then you will be emailed a random password to use for your first log in. You will be prompted to change it immediately OR
visit your local library to have a personal password input (this will be a password of YOUR choosing, not a generic one) OR
ring the library but please expect to be asked several security questions for identification, including license number. If the librarian cannot positively identify you, then you will need to visit the library in person.
